ANATOMIC PATHOLOGY
Anatomic pathology is the branch of medicine that investigates the macroscopic and microscopic alterations affecting human tissues as a result of disease processes in the organs.
By analyzing these alterations, anatomic pathology aims to interpret the various clinical manifestations of disease and to formulate a diagnosis.
To diagnose ongoing diseases and to guide surgical therapeutic strategies and decisions, this discipline relies on the analysis of biopsies and surgical specimens.
EDITORIAL ACTIVITY
Professor Baldi has served as Editor for the publishing house NOVA SCIENCE (NY, USA), overseeing the publication of two scientific books: “Mesothelioma: from the bench side to the clinic” and “Electroporation in Laboratory and Clinical Investigations”.
For Springer, he edited the scientific volume: “Skin Cancer; a Practical Approach”, and he curated the Italian edition of the book “Netter's Essential Histology” (Second Edition, CIC Edizioni Internazionali).
PEER REVIEW ACTIVITY
He has performed peer review activities for various international governmental and private agencies, including:
