- EMBO (European Molecular Biology Organization) “Short term fellowship” in 1997 of for a scientific mission at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Navarra, Spain.
- Prize “Ricerca Pura”of the Società Oftalmologia Italiana (S.O.I.) in 1998, for the work on “ Immunohistochemical study on the manifestation of the family members of the retinoblastoma of the melanoma of the choroid”.
- Scolarship of the Fondazione Italiana per la Ricerca sul Cancro (F.I.R.C.), year 2001.
- XLVIII Edition of the Pizzo Prize, Ars Medica section, year 2002.
